About John
Built on service, led with purpose
Real estate and mortgage advice that actually makes sense — from a veteran who knows the difference between a deal and the right deal.

Meet John Menke
Real estate and mortgages, the way it should be.
I'm an Army veteran with years of experience in real estate and mortgage lending — not as a desk jockey, but as someone who actually closes loans and shakes hands at closing. I started Menke Real Estate and Mortgage because the industry has too much noise and not enough honesty.
Today I work with buyers and sellers across the Inland Empire — first-time homebuyers who need someone to explain the process without the jargon, sellers who want a pricing strategy instead of a sales pitch, and veterans who deserve a lender who actually understands VA loans.
Outside of transactions, I'm chairman of the board at the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce. I believe local expertise matters — knowing the neighborhood, the schools, the market rhythm — and I bring that to every client relationship.

How I work
Not your typical real estate agent
You talk to me — not a assistant
One-person shop. You get me directly. I answer the phone, I return calls, and I make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Buyer education first
I run a free webinar — 'Avoid These Costly Mistakes' — because informed buyers close faster and stress less. I'd rather you understand the process before we ever sign a contract.
Financing integrated from day one
Real estate broker AND mortgage broker. That means the financing piece is not a referral you wait on — it moves at the same pace as the transaction.
Speed matters
When you find a house you want, response time is everything. I move fast on offers, communicate clearly, and keep the process from stalling.
Automated follow-through
After the offer is accepted, you get automated check-ins and reminders through closing. No clients calling my office wondering what happened next.
Local ties, local knowledge
Moreno Valley and the Inland Empire are my market. I know the neighborhoods, the school districts, the March ARB community, and the factors that actually drive values here.
Community
Rooted in Moreno Valley
As chairman of the board at the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce, I'm invested in the growth and wellbeing of this community — not just as a business owner, but as a neighbor.
A portion of every transaction goes to veteran-focused charities. Supporting those who served isn't a line on my website — it's something I follow through on.
